Ok, here's the scoop. I have had the Jaws 30th anniversary dvd for a while now and I've been contemplating trading, selling, or just giving it away because whoever put together this dvd decided to change some of the sound effects in certain scenes. All the gunshots sound different, the shark exploding is different, and even the sound where the guy puts the hook in his wife's holiday roast is different. And thats just to name a few.

Anywho, today I was switching some dvd cases and happened upon my Jaws movie. As I was sitting there hating it, I decided to read the back. My eyes lit up with hope as I read, " Theatrical Mono track" as one of the audio options. I popped it in and listened very carefully. What I heard was everything as it should be! All the sounds I remember hearing when I was a kid watching Jaws were back! IN GLORIOUS MONO!!! Hooray!

In conclusion, I am a happy guy today and watching Jaws can be enjoyable again
